Detoxification is a multi-step procedure.


What you’ve done is made the decision to live a better, healthier lifestyle: you’ve eliminated the foods from your diet with the goal of saying no to disease and poor health; you’re consuming more natural foods such as fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and grains; you’re following a diet plan; and you’re also drinking plenty of water and getting plenty of sleep throughout the night…

Then, why do you always seem to be weary, drained, and even unwell afterward?

As a result of making a positive adjustment in one’s lifestyle, some people will experience detoxification in varying degrees as a result of their efforts. But why does it happen in the first place? In order to address this issue, we must first understand why we get diseases from time to time, as well as what the body does to repair these ailments. The two most common causes of illness are toxicity and deficiency, and these are the root causes of all illnesses. This is due to our regular eating habits. Toxicity is defined as the amount of poison present in the body as a result of eating foods that have produced an acidic imbalance. These toxins are the by-products of ingesting foods derived from animal sources, as well as sugar, salt, white flour products, caffeine, and other goods that have been changed from their original whole-food design, such as processed foods (refined foods).

Many people are urged to detoxify, or clean, their bodies first, and then to rebuild their bodies later on in their lives. But wouldn’t it be preferable to cleanse and nourish the body with beneficial substances from the very beginning, with the goal of providing the body the power it needs to rebuild and resume its regular function while it is also refining? In order to effectively address both the toxicity and deficiency concerns, it is necessary to address both simultaneously.

What causes detoxification to take place?

The most important job of the body is to maintain homeostasis, which is the condition in which each portion of the body is in a state of normal operation and each component of the body is in a state of balance according to the rules of nature. Because of our lifestyle choices, our body’s equilibrium is disrupted over time, and as a result, the body begins to work in a continual state of restoration and refurbishment. Working to keep you alive in whatever way that is humanly feasible. In order to do this, the body attempts to clear itself of harmful components with the goal of eliminating the poisons that have accumulated in the body’s systems. The poisons may be retained deep inside the body’s tissues and cells if the body is unable to completely cleanse itself of the toxins. Unfortunately, it is during the time that poisons are retained within the body that actual damage begins to occur in people and their diseases begin to show. However, when we begin to make healthy dietary and lifestyle choices, the body begins a refining process – removing the bad (toxins) and putting in the necessary (natural nutrients) – and the regions harmed by stored toxins begin the process of repairing.

There are various purifying pathways available throughout the refining process:

1. Elimination is accomplished through the bowels. Elimination is a topic that is typically beneficial to address during detoxification. In some cases, it has been suggested that about 75-90 percent of the population suffers from constipation. This might be a warning indication that more serious health problems are about to arise. The failure to remove toxins from our bodies (dead cells, waste products, and so on) can result in the re-absorption of toxins into the body, which can result in a toxic accumulation that can eventually lead to the breakdown of the body and the development of sickness. As a result, it is critical to improve bowel function in order to ensure that toxins are dispersed as quickly and efficiently as possible.

2nd method of elimination is via the skin. Scrubbing dry skin is one method of aiding in the elimination of toxins. This procedure involves the removal of the skin’s tired cells with a brush. Approximately two pounds of toxins are eliminated via our skin on a daily basis. Our skin is our most important organ, and as a result, when our intestines are not functioning properly, toxins will attempt to escape the body in any way they can, with the skin being one of the most likely destinations. The reason for this is that nearly everyone will experience rashes or patches when their body is going through a refining process.

3rd, elimination takes place through the lymphatic system The lymph system is a component of the immune system, and it aids the body in its efforts to rid itself of harmful substances. However, the lymph system does not circulate throughout the body unless the body is actively doing something. In order to deal with the symptoms of detoxification and to rebuild the immune system, physical exercise is a critical component of the treatment plan. Walking or rebounding for at least sixteen minutes per day is an excellent technique to circulate the lymphatic fluid around the body.

4. Elimination occurs through the mucous membranes of the body. The mucous membranes encapsulate toxins and aid in the elimination of these toxins from our system; but, if the mucous does not maintain a watery consistency, the imprisoned toxins may become contagious from time to time, and infection may occur. A reasonable amount of water (6-8 glasses per day) will assist in keeping the mucous fluid enough to facilitate the rapid passage of mucus through the digestive tract.

What should you do when you are going through detoxification?

There are a number of different detoxification symptoms that might present themselves. Symptoms can range from mildly irritating to severe and include flu-like symptoms, diarrhea, vomiting, and depression. However, the majority of symptoms are mildly irritating and include headaches, fatigue, constipation, a high fever, skin rash, spots, a bad temper, and lethargy, amongst other things. The vast majority of people who modify their eating habits (increase their intake of natural foods) are completely unaware that they are going through a detoxification process. Those who make the adjustment will feel modest refining or detoxification symptoms, such as tiredness, within a few days, while a very tiny proportion will detect major detoxification indications many weeks later. 2: Decrease the speed of the refining process. Reduce the amount of cooked foods you consume while increasing the amount of detoxifier you consume. This will usually result in a reduction in the severity of detoxification symptoms because the body will be concentrating more of its energy on digesting and dealing with cooked foods rather than on refining and rebuilding.

3: Make it happen faster! Allowing the body to detoxify itself more rapidly is beneficial. Excluding solid meals from your diet, increasing your water consumption, fasting, and maybe even participating in enemas or colonics are all part of this detoxification approach. The symptoms will not go away; in fact, they may potentially get more severe for a period of time. However, because they have been terminated, they are unlikely to recur in the same manner.

Whatever detoxification procedure you select, obtaining enough rest is of the utmost importance. Instead of exerting excessive effort, the body should conserve its energy for refining and re-building.

One of the reasons that many people do not suffer painful detoxification is due to the little amount of cooked food that is included in the curriculum; this promotes a steady release of toxins from the body, but at a much slower rate, and requires a longer cycle to take effect than other methods. It is for this reason that the cooked portion is necessary.
